Nightmare On My Street.

So I was gracefully having a nightmare last night, which isn't unusual nor unwelcomed. Nightmares are rather thrilling you know.

It was something paranormal. I don't remember the details very well but I was in a house, it was dark, and there was definitely some ghostly aspect to whatever was going on. I remember that any time I wanted to scream in the dream I couldn't... sort of like when you want to run away in a dream but your legs are like weights. I kept trying to scream but couldn't.

Eventually I walked into a room a saw a little girl lying on the floor on her side. there was something strange about this... like there were details about the room that were different because of the paranormal activity or there was something there that shouldn't have been. Anyway I walked over to the girl and when I rolled her over I obviously saw something I didn't want to see because I tried to scream again. It was very difficult to do but I managed to shriek something out and before I knew it I woke myself up screaming! I SCREAMED IN MY SLEEP!! It was sooo cool!! I woke up screaming but I didn't sit up. I lay there and wondered... did I just scream? My husband hadn't moved yet so I thought maybe I just dreamt I screamed. Seconds later my husband rolled over shinning the light of his iphone at me with WIDE OPEN eyes...

"What the $%*! is wrong with you?!" he says.

"Did i just scream?" I say.

"I don't know what the hell you did but I thought you were having a seizure..." he says.

Now I am not epileptic... but my husband was in the past and our daughter has had 2 diabetic seizures in her sleep (I'm not diabetic either) so it was the first thing that popped into his head when I started shrieking in my sleep... can you imagine?? He must have been thinking... oh shit, not her too. So funny. I laughed so hard I cried.

Have you ever had a nightmare like that?
